ENERGY SAVING FUND TO BE ESTABLISHED IN KR
The energy saving fund is planned to be established in Kyrgyzstan. The issue on organization of such structure was raised by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Fuel Resources (MIEFR) of KR.
The fund is supposed to promote development and introduction of energy saving technologies, modernization of equipment of energy companies, as well as transferring part of consumers to alternative energy sources.
As MIEFR states this structure has already been approved by legislators. Since 2003 there have been made three attempts to organize such fund. However, they can now be found only in papers.
Establishment of the fund, as the MIEFR assumes, would solve many problems of local energy. According to experts this would also solve the problem on funding of programs on introduction of new energy technologies, foresee subsidies for consumer citizens and organizations as well as providing grants and credits for those who wants to develop this area.
The fund is also supposed to be made up of grants and credits as well as of charges from energy business.

CHINA IS READY TO INVEST IN AGRICULTURE OF KYRGYZSTAN
Kyrgyzstan is interested in cooperation with China in the agriculture sphere, Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources and Processing Industry Sooronbai Jeenbekov told during the meeting with official delegation of Xinjiang-Uigur autonomous region of China.
S. Jeenbekov stressed at the meeting that there is great potential for cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China in all spheres of agriculture. In particular, in the sphere of processing of milk, fruit and vegetable products, fishery, sheep-breeding, poultry.
The head of the Chinese delegation, seputy chief of agriculture department of Xinjiang region Guan Juydzie expressed interest in expansion of cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in the agriculture sphere. He told that the Chinese side is ready to consider concrete suggestions of the Kyrgyz side and to conclude frame agreement on technical and economic cooperation in the sphere of agriculture. This means investing into agriculture.
