Summary

Studies are carried out on experimental fields characterizing different hydrogeological-reclamation and soil-economic conditions of West Fergana.Climate is continental. Soil - loam, clay, sandy loam, and sands underlain by pebbles on different depths 6-11 m and 36-41 m.Experimental fields are drained by horizontal drains on depth 1.5-2.5 m, specific length - 35-73 m/ha. On-farm irrigation network in earthen channel with efficiency 0.8-0.82. Water used for irrigation has salinity degree 2.1-3.1 g/l.Work is directed to definition of physical nature, establishment of quantitative indicators and revealing of peculiarities of soil-reclamation processes occurring under long-term use of highly saline water for irrigation.

Multiyear studies (1962-1986) show possibility of long-term drainage water use with salinity degree 2.0-3.5 g/l for irrigation and leaching without damage for lands reclamation state and agricultural crop yield capacity keeping irrigation leaching regime on the drainage background.

Key words
