Summary

Study is directed to combat soil salination based on area drainage, leaching, leaching irrigation regime, water use improvement, soil water-salt regime management and irrigated lands productivity increase on background of vertical drainage. Plot is located in south-east part of Hunger steppe. Climate is sharply continental, relief-hilly. Soils-middle loam, saline, salinity type is sulfate-chloride Ground water depth is 1.7-2.2 m in vegetation and 2.5-4.2 m in fall. Plot area is 3500ha (gross), land use efficiency is 0.85. Vertical wells number is 12, well depth is 60-70m with metal screen and gravel filling. Study showed that on background of vertical drainage it is possible to regulate soil water-salt regime along with agroreclamation measures.
